Earlier this year, the team at AAS Renovations were contacted by a family in Mullaloo to design and install home modifications for an elderly resident.

After inspecting the property and providing a free quote, our team completed a comprehensive scope.
1. Increased mobility Bathroom renovation
The scope of our quoted works were as follows:
- Make a new opening from the bedroom wall to the bathroom, 900 mm wide with sliding door, metal frame and flash panel door,
- Remove the shower brick hub, wall and floor tiles, cabinet, bath and disposal
- Supply and install new wall basin for wheelchair access or a bench top with basin
- Supply and lay new bathroom floor tiles and wall tiles all around up to 1900 high all around.
- Supply and install mixer tap for the shower and basin.
- Supply and install a toilet to the bathroom. Allowed for the exterior sewerage pipe outside of the bathroom wall to be up to 2 meters.
- Block off the original door, from inside the bathroom with villaboard to make the shower bigger
- Waterproofing, rendering and floor leveling
- Supply and install a flip bar up hand rail for the toilet
- Painting of the bathroom door, frame walls and ceiling
- Supply and install 4 light ceiling heat lamps
- Supply PowerPoint to the bathroom and re-locate light switches
- Remove all waste and clean site.
2. Build front entrance ramp
The scope of our quoted works are as follows:
- Build ramp using the original paving in front of the entrance
- Remove all waste & clean site.
3. Build timber ramp (900mm wide) up 2 steps to games room
The scope of our quoted works are as follows:
- Supply timbers necessary to build safe structure
- Professional carpentry services to build structure
- Remove all waste & clean site.
4. Build timber ramp (1.2m wide) for back door to opening onto
The scope of our quoted works are as follows:
- Supply timbers needed to build a safe structure
- Professional carpentry services to build the structure
- Remove all waste & clean site.
